Weird take on Deja Vu...

March 18th, 2008

So I had deju vu the other day and it always strikes me with a huge blow most people might just say "whoah deja vu", but for me it's almost like im re-living something that already happened exactly but the force of it is so strong that I kinda freak out a bit . I have a fun little theory on deja vu because my imagination really wanders at work. So think matrix-meets total recall, Imagine a world where you live to be maybe a million years old who knows. Instead of movies you can pick like a life on earth thing for entertainment and it last 80 years or so , which is nothing if you live to be a million. So you go to a place to pick your life or "form of entertainment" , and watch say a 10 minute preview of the life. So when deja vu happens in life, its stuff your remembering from the preview, It's like oh I know this part exactly because I saw it in the preview. Any other fun takes on deja vu? , I would love to hear em.

Flatlined and professionalism

March 2nd, 2008

Since we have been home from our last winter tour things have been changing, it’s almost like we are growing and maturing. From mild communication within the band and average hours logged working for the band, there has been a dramatic increase, working 24/7 to make this band work as a business. We all fill out daily logs of what needs to be done and what is done. Everyday we realize how much hard work it takes to move ahead but at the same time how rewarding and beneficial it is. We are overhauling all of our websites soon with the release of the DVD and new merch designs. We also play live to a click now and I feel that these are the first few steps for us to jump from Indie band to professional musicians. I see a lot of good things for us ahead after the next Canadian/USA tours then Europe, we will be introducing a new album that will absolutely crush the impression Flatlined has made thus far.

Get Ready for “The Legendary Flatlined” lol (inside joke!)

Boycotting is awesome.

March 1st, 2008

So, it's blog time. Population Jimi,Chris,Wes and Me. I'm not gonna lie I have no idea what to talk about. I failed english in high school pretty bad so I guess this will help because I'm going to get Chris to proofread all my blogs before posting and then tell me how shitty my writing skills are.

Let's start with boycotting YAY.

So UPS, theres a long list of reasons why I want this company to go down in flames. Things like shaving hours or minutes of my paychecks to save the company money or attempting to fire me for no reason because I was due for a raise. Then actually firing me when I got my raise ,again for no reason but I fought it and got it back. But number 1 is probably the fact that they could easily give me the time I need off for shows and short leaves for tours here and there and they refuse. They are making my life very dificult to get things done with Flatlined. I don't mind if they don't support what else I do when not working but the anti-support is very annoying. Soon I will be forced to quit before the next tour and my lifelong journey of bringing that company down will officially begin.
Increased fame will certainly help. So yeah......SHIP FED EX HAHA

I don't really care that much but I do hate UPS.

  • If there was a site where I actually said anything at all, instead of being quiet all the time... This would totally be it.
